This past weekend, we traveled south to Caldwell for homecoming. For those of you that don't know much about Caldwell, Homecoming is a BIG deal and a tradition that has been going on for as long as I can remember! This year was my older brother Darren's 15-year celebration. His class was in charge of the program on Friday afternoon. Needless to say, it was awful!!!! All Darren had to say about it was, "I don't really care....I was in charge of the shirts!" And the shirts turned out pretty awesome by the way.
Here is a picture of Ash, Darren &
Rylee after the program.

After the program, there is a parade on main street. The bands, sports teams, classes, etc. all ride through the parade and throw candy for the little ones. Right before the parade, my niece Ashlee was crowned Princess!! That gave her the honor of carrying the crown for the Queen at halftime of the football game. CONGRATS Ash!!! You were such a pretty princess!!!!!
Here is a picture of me and my sister-in-law after the parade.

I just love my sister!!

Ryan finally made it to town just in town for the parties to begin. Here he is with my brother @ The Club.

Saturday morning, me,
Rylee, my mom and
Kirstan got up and headed to Sedan, KS for the Middle School girls league volleyball tournament. The Caldwell Lady Jays were undefeated going into this tournament. They ended up winning the whole thing and ended their season with a 14-0 record!! WOW!!!! I'm so proud of Lexie and the rest of her team! What a fun group of girls to watch!!!
After we got back into town, we headed downtown to Joe B's Pool Hall for Karaoke! Man was it packed in there!!!! Never new so many small-
towner's were such big fans of Karaoke!!

Nothing too exciting has been going on this week. This weekend we plan to spend time with the
Krauses' so hopefully I'll have some pictures to post from our visit with Dana & Paxton on Saturday afternoon, play date with Jackson & Matthew on Saturday night and Grandma & Grandpa
Krauses' visit on Sunday! Really looking forward to the weekend!!
Until next time....
